The compensator is composed of a bellows and two end connecting pipes. It absorbs the axial displacement of the pipe line (with a small amount of lateral and angular displacement as well) through the flexible deformation of the corrugated pipe. The end pipe is either directly welded to the pipe pipe or welded to a flange and then connected to the pipe flange. The small tie rods on the expansion joint are mainly used for rigid support during transportation or for pre-deformation adjustment of the product. They are not load-bearing components. This type of expansion joint has a simple structure and a low price. Therefore, all possible places on the pipeline should be given priority consideration.
Installation and usage precautions
1. The direction of the inner lining cylinder should be consistent with the flow direction of the medium (there is a flow direction mark on the expansion joint)
After on-site installation is completed, the small pull rods must be removed.
3. To reduce the force on the pipe rack, such expansion joints can be pre-deformed (pre-tensioned or pre-compressed) before installation. Please specify this in the contract if required by the user.
